Hate and Love

Blood has been spilled in our lands for too long to attribute hate and violence as a proper course of action for the future. Lets turn to love and beauty in the midst of this chaos to rejuvenate the broken souls towards peace and prosperity. Not love and beauty through mere words but actions of the most benevolent strive. Lets disengage from our comfort zones and enter the ranks of those who truly seek happiness in this world and the next beyond the material means.

Storm

Grief has yet again struck
Confusion has yet again rained
Feelings of loss have yet again stormed

Difficulties have yet again clouded around

I must fetch my jacket of Deen
I must fetch my umbrella of Al-Kareem
I must fetch the boots of the Mu’mineen
Most importantly,
I must fetch shelter under the mountains of Ar-Raheem

The pain is rough but the world is tough
The heart is stuffed but still says ‘not enough'

As the heart begins to bleed
The mind begins to read
The eyes begin to see
The mouth begins to speak
There is no God but Allah

Thus,
It has been said that the Pen has been lifted and the ink has dried.

If i don't pass I'm definitely going to go crazy

Illness a heart softener

It is the eleventh blessed day of Ramadan and I caught a cold, because of course its me and I always catch colds. I think my body just likes catching colds, I would expect it to declare war on the infecting germs but nop it throws up a white flag and says 'take me'. But it doesn't give up that easy it decides to take the bottom-up approach instead of the top-down. I think there is some beauty in this, probably not physically but rather spiritually. Since struggle is inherent in the life of this world, and through patience we can attain closeness to Allah swt. The body's struggle against the disease has a direct implication on the spiritual heart
